LSBU is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our students. We are looking for enthusiastic and meticulous individual support the work of the Wellbeing and Advice team in a safe environment for student across LSBU


Exciting work you will do


This role will be at the heart of ensuring that staff and students are aware of their responsibilities in relation to Student Safety including Safeguarding, Sexual Misconduct, Bullying and Harassment.

This role combines an administrative role with the opportunity to contribute to the delivery and creation of resources for training.


Whilst you are based in Wellbeing and Advice your role affords you the opportunity to communicate to individuals across LSBU.

As part of this, your work will see you involved in coordinating and administering our journey towards achieving the University Mental Health Charter.


The skills and experience you will need to be successful


You will be an enthusiastic and committed professional who has a good grasp of the role a University plays in ensuring the safety of the students.


You will be comfortable with working with a number of individuals across the organisation and be skilled in managing a varied workload.

You must be highly organised, IT literate and able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team to develop the function to support and promote student safety.


Details about the role
17.5 hours permanent, working pattern to be agreed.


Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
