The Opportunity:

We always want to improve. Our plan is to continue delivering even more strategic & value consulting services/value selling across our business. To do this, we need a Commercial Engagement Strategist to build a proposal framework that will scale.

This role will report to our Head of Commercial Strategy and Operations, and will work in close partnership with Solution Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal.

Building an Adobe network and eco-system will be pivotal to success in this role.

Then - As part of this exciting role, you will:


Develop proposal governance frameworks, crafted to help sales colleagues with deal structuring: The goal to deliver outstanding value propositions for customers.


Conduct proposal commerciality analysis creating an enablement strategy to support the business to use accurate frameworks, improving profitability through sustainable business practices.

Undertake data gathering and analysis activities, to provide a complete proposal view. The core focus will be on proposal type, value, cycle, usage/utilisation, risks and excitingly - opportunities.


What you need to succeed:


An engaging and hardworking approach with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and the ability to absorb sophisticated concepts quickly, in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

You will be able to work across multiple industry verticals and grasp industry specific drivers.

A background in Sales Operations and Strategic Account Management would be brilliant. This will combine the required experience of crafting and managing multiple engagements in parallel - strong organisation and prioritisation skills are crucial


We'd also love someone with sound consulting, discovery, analytical, listening, and interpersonal skills - capable of delivering engaging presentations that show the true value Adobe can bring whilst maintaining governance with both authority and charisma.

Experience managing multiple concurrent proposals in various stages of the proposal process.


A demonstrated success assembling, developing, and supporting proposal teams comprising sales executives, solution engineers, product management, consulting, engineering services and product developers.

Knowledge and background working within each facet of the proposal process, including proposal production and review.


Capable of seeing the "big picture" in order to implement and maintain effective processes while recognising the overall impact of decisions.

Successful past experience in positions providing a broad view of business including long-term vision, strategic thinking, communications, negotiations and team building is crucial.


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, or equivalent experience is required.
