Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure that students are engaged in learning activities
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students with special education needs, including those with autism or other learning disabilities
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians
  • Provide educational support by assisting students with assignments and answering questions
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment through creative teaching methods
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal development
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Creative writing skills to develop engaging lesson plans and materials
  • Experience mentoring or tutoring students is a plus

Salary:
£85.00-£110.00 per day
