Description

WOMEN ACTIVITIES NAVIGATOR, STREET OUTREACH TEAM, SHEFFIELD, 12-MONTH CONTRACT, 37 HPW, FRWK09 £24,223 - £26,270
Summary

Framework's Women's Positive Activity Programme will include a range of activities, accessible to eligible women, led by our Women's Activities Worker and volunteers with lived-in experience.

Some of these activities will be on a one-to-one basis and some of them will be group activities. The activities will be designed and co-produced around the women's interests who are taking part.

These could consist of activities such as; arts and crafts, nail art, hairdressing, walking, budgeting, climbing, horse-riding, self-defence, film club, yoga, mindfulness and so on.

An important part of the programme will also be to connect women with community activities that already exist as well as volunteering and educational programmes.

This is so that although the programme is 12 months long, it will have a long lasting and sustainable effect.

Where and when the activity will take place

How many people you're hoping to engage with

Framework have an existing case load of women who would be eligible for the programme.

We also work closely with Chocolate Box, SWWOP, Housing First, Changing Futures, Archer Project, Bens Centre and so on who also a case load of eligible clients.

We believe we will be able to offer the programme to 60+ women.

We have experience of working with these women and understand that due to their multiple and complex need, not all of them will be able to commit to coming to an activity, despite their motivation to.

We would hope that over the 12 months, 45 would attend at least 1 activity, with 30 of those women engaging regularly.
