We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Responsible for full and effective daily brief/debrief for DHL, agency and subcontractor drivers
  • Manage operational costs and identification of cost performance trends i.e. fuel performance/accidents etc
  • Be the Point of contact for all drivers during your drivers' duty shift
  • Liaise with and feedback to driver agencies for adhoc and peak driver support
  • Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during a shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
  • Manage Driver performance to identify any major discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan
  • Accident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures
  • To schedule, prepare and conduct quarterly 121's with all direct reports in line with OMS guidelines

Now, here's what we need from you:

  • Minimum 2 years of Transport Office experience
  • Proven Line management capabilities
  • Good understanding of Transport legal compliance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Supervisory skills managing individual performance/absenteeism/conflict and development
  • High School/secondary education is Desirable
  • Good degree in IT literacy
