We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

Responsible for full and effective daily brief/debrief for DHL, agency and subcontractor drivers
Manage operational costs and identification of cost performance trends i.e. fuel performance/accidents etc
Be the Point of contact for all drivers during your drivers' duty shift
Liaise with and feedback to driver agencies for adhoc and peak driver support
Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during a shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
Manage Driver performance to identify any major discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan
Accident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures
To schedule, prepare and conduct quarterly 121's with all direct reports in line with OMS guidelines

Now, here's what we need from you:

Minimum 2 years of Transport Office experience
Proven Line management capabilities
Good understanding of Transport legal compliance
Excellent communication skills
Supervisory skills managing individual performance/absenteeism/conflict and development
High School/secondary education is Desirable
Good degree in IT literacy
