This is a brilliant opportunity to develop and maintain of the group's health and safety management systems.

You will play a vital part in transforming the way the Group's health and safety IT systems are developed and administered and in how data is utilised and insights delivered, acting as a second-line of defence for the Group in helping to ensure it meets its legal and regulatory requirements.

You will provide technical expertise, database administration and systems integration support for our E20 H&S management system and the H&S area of our e-learning system.

The role will be agile working from one of the offices and working from home. The role is full-time, permanent with flexible working hours in conjunction with the group's agile working policy.


WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?


The ideal person will have a sound knowledge of systems configuration and database architecture and knowledge of SQL to interrogate data quality.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
This role has a number of core objectives including:

  • 1 Support the ongoing development and integration of the systems, in conjunction with the project management team

This will involve:

assisting with process planning and mapping; the configuration of systems in line with business case and required processes; undertaking testing in collaboration with relevant stakeholders; supporting implementation arrangements; ensuring that new features and functionality are communicated to end users with training as required; and documenting system configuration records.


2 As systems administrator: manage user setup and access rights; map out learning journeys for individuals and teams; manage workflows to ensure they meet business needs; develop and maintain system standards and procedures; guide the design of bespoke training packages, e-forms, user interfaces and dashboards within the system.


3 In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, facilitate data integrity and assurance within the systems by: interrogating and analysing the data to identify gaps, themes and trends; carrying out reconciliation audits; performing ongoing data validation; and ensuring correct categorisation of colleagues as appropriate within the systems.


4 Lead the development of a comprehensive suite of reports and dashboards which provide stakeholders with clear, accurate and meaningful measures of performance and information to drive compliance and key health and safety processes.


5 Work collaboratively with the IT and Business Assurance Teams to ensure that the use of information and reporting insights is optimised across the Group and that users have a high level of trust in the information provided and the necessary assurance is provided to board.


6 Provide technical support for users of the systems: responding effectively to system related service requests; diagnosing and resolving issues; escalating faults to external support providers; liaising with the IT Team as required; and creating operational instructions and user guides to facilitate effective use of the systems.
