Finance Assistant

Job Duties:


  • Process purchase ledger
  • Ensure budgets are recording correctly to enable forecasting
  • Process subcontractor payments
  • Assist with the CIS monthly returns and statements
  • Process wages including any expenses journals
  • Process the company credit card transactions and receipts
  • Carry out weekly bank reconciliations and checks
  • Manage and maintain annual leave on Sage
  • Ensure documentation is filed correctly
  • Assist the Head of Finance with any other duties

Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail is imperative
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities
  • Must be able to focus in an open plan environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be open minded to change with a willingness to learn

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
