Full Time - Temp to Perm


Job Solutions Ltd are delighted to be working with a new client to source Food Production Operatives to join their growing, professional team in Highbridge, Somerset.


Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team.

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining food production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Your role will involve ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


Duties:


  • Use appropriate lifting techniques when handling raw materials
  • Review set recipe method and ingredients prepared in a timely manner to allow efficient flow of cooking
  • Weigh all ingredients according to recipe
  • Complete glass traceability paperwork
  • Complete all other records fully and legibly
  • Ensure that each batch of product produced is fully compliant with standards s
  • Ensure all controls over allergens are followed

Experience:

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations preferred
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues preferred
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities


Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Pay:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
