Samuel (19) is a fun, sociable, and happy young man with a great sense of humour and the most infectious giggle He attends college in the week and has many interests in his spare time, which include being involved in preparing his food, shopping, cooking,listening to music, going out to the theatre, cinema, and museums.
He can express his likes and dislikes well. Samuel requires 2:1 support 24/7 with all his needs.
Overview of role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, vibrant, and warm Support Worker for Samuel.
Your role will be to fully support Samuel with all aspects of his daily routine; attending college, hydrotherapy, days out exploring new activities.
Previous trips and activities hehas enjoyed are Centre Parcs, Legoland, Harry Potter world, dry slope skiing, theatre, and speed boating Samuel lives in a large, beautifully adapted house, that meets all his needs.
He has a multidisciplinary team to provide physio and hydrotherapy, speechand language and Occupational therapy.Hourly rate:
Weekdays £13.50 gross per hour, Weekends £15.50 gross per hour. The annual salary is a minimum of £29,484.00 gross (based on the weekday rate).
The rota, issued 8 weeks in advance, is based on an average of 42 hours a week;3 shifts the first week, followed by 4 shifts the second week.
(12 hours per shift, 7.00am to 7.00pm).Who this job would suit:
