AdvertAn opportunity has arisen for motivated and committed SEND Enquiries Officers to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service.
In this newly created role, you will be the first point of contact within the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service for parents and carers, Integrated Childrens Services (ICS), Education settings, and our multi-agency partners.
This will specifically include monitoring and overseeing the timely, accurate and efficient response to requests for advice and information from the SEND service into the ICS Front Door, in relation to early help or social work involvement.
This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position.The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person.Location will be Kroner House for the first 3 months and then hybrid working.
