APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION


Powersystems UK Ltd is an employee owned high voltage engineering company specialising in electrical power infrastructure, grid connections and renewable generation.

Due to our continued success, we are looking to strengthen our workforce and currently have vacancies for Apprentice Electricians.


Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
"

  • Assist with site electrical installations including; lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation, switchgear installation.
- "Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times. "

  • Take personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to them.
- "Project a professional image to clients and colleagues.
- "Contribute to the future success of Powersystems UK Ltd and its clients.


Qualifications / skills

  • 5 GCSEs at level 5 or above including, Maths, English and Science.
  • Most hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Practical experience in the use of hand tools would be an advantage
  • Have an eye for precision and tidiness.

Salary and benefits

  • Upon satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period will lead to a full craft apprenticeship including 2 years block release at college.
