Description

As our next Planning Specialist, you'll be instrumental in ensuring that all Loram UK Rail Operations are conducted in accordance with company standards, procedures, Rule Book, and ORR guidance.

Your remit will be to serve as the central point of contact and communication for all Loram UK train planning activities.


To excel in this role, you'll need to be well organised and you're not the type to struggle with attention to detail.

You would thrive on focusing on the finer details. This role requires an individual who is accountable for their actions. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is customer-focused.


Working with a team of skilled individuals, you'll be responsible for planning Loram UK train movements and liaising with Network Rail.

Your role is to ensure that train planning is optimal for driver utilisation and fatigue management. Coordinating fleet servicing, fueling, and watering will also be considered during train planning.

The Key Requirements...

  • 1 years minimum experience railway operations, control or planning experience
  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Level 4 and above (A*C)
