Description
Sales coverage of the UK Institutions on High Grade credit.

Amongst the products Investment Grade Corporates and Financials will be the main focus with some responsibility for flow ABS and HY to accounts deemed to not require dedicated specialist coverage.


  • Supports the Sales Services Director and Managing Director in developing identified new business leads and tracking a business plan relationships.
  • Business as usual transaction execution following pricing from relevant trading team. Develops knowledge of client needs & requirements; coordinates efforts to service client organisations
  • Business as usual escalation point for client concerns / operational issues where Front Office can contribute to resolution or which could have a relationship impact and requires further escalation.
  • Makes sales calls & meets with clients to review outlook for assigned market / sectors
  • Identifies potential opportunities for cross selling and executes or escalates to Director / Managing Director in first instance to with respect to relevance
  • Proactively participates in the marketing of assigned product team services
  • Proactively participates with other salespersons and traders who service accounts
  • Maintain complete records of client orders and execution
  • Deliver trade ideas and relevant and targeted HSBC content
Requirements

  • A BA or MA Degree in Finance or Economics is desirable.
  • Job requires a sound understanding of all Flow credit products incl. cash, index and CDS.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
