What you will be doing


You will be supporting the UK commercial sales growth ambitions, supporting the commercial sales teams, with the management of contracts, commitments and service level targets that form the wider service level agreements.

You will be involved in the management of the contracts database and provision of commercial contract support and advice.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Provide support as required to assist effective and efficient contracting activity across multiple parties.
  • Clear ownership of Commercial Sales Delegation of Authority for commercial and contractual negotiation.
  • Full ownership and control of contract process, for the Commercial Sales Group (Sales, Bid/Tender and Account Management)
  • Monitoring and reporting of contract compliance, process compliance through contract register/dashboard
  • Assist Sales/Business Development Manager/Account Manager to execute contract need, including understanding content and implications of terms and conditions
  • Establish robust monitoring of key contract terms, provide risk profile and reporting to Commercial Leadership Team periodically.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with bp contract templates and policies

Qualifications

  • Experience in generating contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to summarise complex commercial concepts and contracts.
  • Contract management or Paralegal experience.
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders across the wider business.
