Overview:

Harrow Council is looking a Driver Operative to work collaboratively and carry out daily work schedules to service standards to achieve high standards and customer satisfaction for street cleansing and grounds maintenance services.

The post holder will carry out tasks such as street cleaning, emptying litter bins, weed control, horticultural maintenance, removal of graffiti and fly tipping, grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning and building cleaning.

About you:

Must be able to carry out training required
Possession of a full, clean UK current driving licence
Ability to work on own initiative and / or as part of a team, including directing and organising the work of others
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a demanding and pressurised environment
Ability to deal effectively with customers and members of the public
Ability to work with minimum supervision
