Position:
Collections Advisor (12 month fixed term contract)

Location:
Cardiff Bay (with plenty of free onsite parking)

Salary:
£24,000 pa

Hours: 35 hours per week contract, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility required)

The successful Financial Services Collections Advisor will be responsible for the following:

Working closely with the customers who have fallen behind on their loan repayments to promote engagement
Having effective conversations to create a manageable solution that is best for both the customer and the bank
Taking the time to understand the customer's individual situation, showing empathy and respect and providing fair outcomes and positive experiences throughout
Ensuring a fair and ethical approach helping each and every customer on their road to financial recovery
Previous collections advisor experience within a heavily regulated environment
Highly customer focused, with experience of working with vulnerable customers
Excellent people skills, with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence
A great team player with the ability to work on own initiative
Selfmotivated with a "cando" approach to work and customer service
