Position:
Collections Advisor (12 month fixed term contract)


Location:
Cardiff Bay (with plenty of free onsite parking)


Salary:
£24,000 pa


Hours: 35 hours per week contract, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility required)

The successful Financial Services Collections Advisor will be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with the customers who have fallen behind on their loan repayments to promote engagement
  • Having effective conversations to create a manageable solution that is best for both the customer and the bank
  • Taking the time to understand the customer's individual situation, showing empathy and respect and providing fair outcomes and positive experiences throughout
  • Ensuring a fair and ethical approach helping each and every customer on their road to financial recovery
  • Previous collections advisor experience within a heavily regulated environment
  • Highly customer focused, with experience of working with vulnerable customers
  • Excellent people skills, with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence
  • A great team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Selfmotivated with a "cando" approach to work and customer service
