Description

A qualified Field Service Engineer is needed to join the team at this leading parking management systems company in Newcastle.

You will get the opportunity to make around £34k to £36k per annum against weekday and weekend standbys

Required Experience:

A recognised level 3 electrical or electronic qualification from any one of the following industries is required

  • Electrical installation
  • Electronic Servicing
  • Avionics
  • Telecommunications
  • Acceptable Examination Certificates:
  • T Levels
  • NVQ
  • C&G
  • ONC
  • OND
  • HNC
  • HND
  • Degree

Required Skills:


  • Confident communicator
  • Professional telephone manner
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working practices
  • Good administration skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • The ability to work within given response times
  • The ability to learn new technologies
  • A selfstarter

Desirable Experience:


  • Field service
  • Coin and notehandling systems
  • Magnetic encoders
  • Bar code scanners
  • Local area networks
  • Access control systems
  • Intercom systems
  • P.C operating systems
  • SQL database experience
  • P.C hardware
  • Minor PCB repairs
  • Mechanical fitting
  • Technical support
