Gi Group are currently recruting for a maintenance engineer to join our client based in BRADVILLE, MILTON KEYNES who are specialised in innovative and customer focused adhesives.

The role of the Late Shift Maintenance Engineer is to maintain the safe operation of equipment and machinery within the factory.

This is also making sure that all communal areas, laboratories, and offices and maintained the highest standards.

Information willbe needed to be passed on between the Early Shift and Night shift engineers and make sure that the whole team understand all works that have been undertaken or completed.

Salary & Benefits
£40,000+ Depending on experience - overtime available and call out renumeration
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 2pm - 10pm
28 days holidays plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

Complete emergency breakdowns and maintenance as soon as it occurs.
The ability to diagnose and fault find on a range of equipment, resolve, and improve working procedures.

Fit, maintain, and monitor all parts, machinery and make sure all plant equipment is working to its optimum working parameters.

Carry out PPM, personal & team projects, new installations & testing, and daily routine maintenance work.
Follow maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.

Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), control systems, and bespoke machinery across our Plant and Production lines.

Control maintenance stores and maintain all tools, and equipment in the Department.
Liaise with all site departments to ensure quality, health & safety and environmental targets are adhered to and achieved.
Operate within the parameters determined by the Company's policy statements.
Follow Health, Safety & Welfare at Work systems and procedures which the Company has introduced.
Follow all specific legislation for Environmental factors.
Skills and Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing processes and equipment.
Qualified to IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition +
3 phase, PLC & Machine Control Systems working knowledge
New Installation work and Testing
The ability to diagnose and fault find on a range of equipment
Good Organisational skills
Reporting & Accountability of work
Working in a close team or self-supervised environment
Good interpersonal and communicational skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office
