Band 5/ Band 6 Development Role


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian with experience in nutrition support and enteral feeding to join the nutrition support team working across the Rochdale Care Organisation.

This post is a Development role and will give you the opportunity to further develop your clinical skills and the opportunity to develop leadership skills in managing staff, workloads, and exciting innovative programmes.

Dietetics has just moved into the Integrated Neighbourhood Team and as a team we have been made very welcome. The senior managers at Rochdale are inclusive, friendly and encourage innovation.


This is a community post where the post holder will see patients in a variety of settings including nursing and care homes, patients own homes and local Hospice across Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale.

The post holder will also support the two acute wards (clinical assessment unit and Dementia ward) at Rochdale Infirmary, rehabilitation unit and community wards.

You will not gain experience in TPN. However, there will be the opportunity to gain some experience in community gastroenterology.


Moving forward the postholder will be involved in the implementation of the new malnutrition pathway in primary care, integrated care/neighbourhood teams and secondary care.

We are able to offer this role as Full Time, Part time or Job Share basis.
