Salary:
Hourly Paid, £12.93 per hour. Professional Services Band 3.


Contract Type: 37 weeks per year (Term-time only) Hourly Paid. Fixed term until 1st
March 2025.

Location:
Paignton, Devon


  • We are looking to recruit an Hourly Paid Catering Assistant who will operate the food service areas and provide kitchen assistance.
  • The key tasks will include:
  • Preparing beverages (including Barista), snacks and other foods.
  • Preparing & maintaining counter & sales area for service.
  • Preparing & serving all food and beverages.
  • Maintaining good customer/stakeholder relations.
  • Filling vending machines.
  • Ensuring fast, efficient, high quality service.
  • Clearing tables & washing up crockery, cutlery etc.
  • Operating tills including cashless sales accurately.
  • Ensuring that working areas are kept clean & tidy.
  • To ensure implementation of the quality systems within the section.
  • To implement and maintain health and safety requirements.
  • To implement and maintain equal opportunities and diversity policy.
  • Any other duties from time to time that may be necessary commensurate with the grading of this post.
