Sales Manager (Chemicals) - Manufacturing & Engineering - Manchester - Up to £65,000 + OTE

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Chemical Sales Manager who has experience within the Chemical industry.

They are a market-leading manufacturer in Chemical Distribution and they are seeking a high-calibre sales professional to join them on theirjourney.

Sales Manager - Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with emphasis on persuader/influencer people management understanding.
  • Highly motivated and a proven selfstarter whilst working in a demanding and challenging role, demonstrating revenue growth, and managing a multimillion £ region.
  • Adaptable and flexible in their work approach.
  • Efficient and timely at meetings and exceeding sales targets.
  • Enjoys the challenge of a field sales environment.

Education and Qualification(s)

  • Either +5 years of work experience in the Chemical Industry or Chemical or Scientific Discipline Degree qualified.

Sales Manager - Responsibilities

  • Identify target markets and accounts to develop within those markets
  • Manage negotiations from initial enquiry through to quotation and final close of order
  • Develop a significant presence in the market through working with customers and wider stakeholders to ensure that market share is maximised and developed
  • Work with the Group Procurement and Operations team to ensure that both supply chain and operations are aligned to the commercial goals
