What's the role all about:
Role Description


As the Team Lead the role reports directly to the O&M Manager (Head of the Hard FM) where the role liaises with the Service Delivery Team Leads directly, the role plays a key part in supporting operations within PNB.

Ensuring that the day-to-day operations is managed and raising issues to the O&M Manager when a satisfactory conclusion cannot be found.

This role is in support of all statutory and regulatory maintenance is covered across the site with key reportable made on a monthly basis to track compliance.


Role Purpose

We require you to:

  • Liaise with the departmental Team Leads and assist with supporting the heads of ship docking, diving activities and electrical/mechanical maintenance.
  • Ensuring day to day operations are managed accordingly and escalated when needed and maintaining the scheduled maintenance activities are supported in all areas with the right SQEP / resource availability.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver increased efficiencies as per the Team Leads objectives set by the O&M Manager
  • Liaise with department heads to ensure spares are procured as necessary to support the timely delivery of routine planned maintenance and associated reactive maintenance.
  • Support the tasking of reactive activities through systematic trend analysis of historic failure types / rates to reduce the likelihood of rework and ensure a 'right first time' approach; providing increased efficiency in rectification and value for money.
  • Continuous support of the clients' requirements and resources needs; ensure that the labour loading needs to match any support needs.
  • Continually evolving, forecasting and resource systems, with a strong focus on customer service levels, productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure work is delivered with maximum efficiency ensuring full compliance with all relevant statutory / regulatory obligations.
  • Look for efficiencies when possible, with resourcing and cost saving ensuring a reduction of works completed out of hours.

Role Responsibilities
As part of delivering this role, you will typically be:

  • Working with the O&M Manager to ensure that all maintenance achieves full compliance with all legal and contractual requirements and is delivered effectively and efficiently with the minimum possible disruptions to service.

Key Experience:


To succeed, you will ideally:

  • Hold a position within an FM maintenance team at a suitable level.
  • Have a good understanding of the FMSP contract.
  • Be familiar with KPI and STO reporting.
  • Have Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) knowledge and experience.
  • Have had experience in working with technical specifications and have a good understanding of safe systems of work.
  • Be a selfmotivated Team Lead with a strong work ethic and high personal standards.

Qualifications & Memberships:


You should hold:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent demonstrable work Experience) in an engineering discipline with 10yrs plus experience within the facilities management environment.
  • Hold security clearance or ability to obtain.
