This full service, integrated agency are consistently voted number the 1 integrated agency by Prolific North and boast a range of global brands.
With offices across the World, they're looking to grow their creative team in Manchester and Leeds, this role can be based within either location and offers a hybrid working week of 3 days in the Studios.
Covering a full end to end offering from data & insight, through to planning and strategy.They create and deliver content both above and below the line and cover sectors ranging from beauty and tech, to travel and leisure and food & drink.
Working within the Digital and Post-Production division to create and execute engaging video content at a high-level, across a wide range of brands and deliverables, the Lead Video Editor will:- Work across a variety of outputs from TVC, Screen and Showreels to Pitches, DOOH, Web and Social.
- Editing, Compositing, Colour Grading, and Sound Mixing.
- Execute strong artistic and technical skills with proven ability, using Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects.
- To produce intricate yet engaging video content, across a variety of online and offline touchpoints.
- Competent with mixing liveaction footage and photography into edits and animation.
- Highly adept with sound mixing and sound design
- Have a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Work collaboratively with Editors, Motion Graphic Designers, Digital Production Artists, Art Directors, and other Creative teams.
- Taking a leading role to interpret and develop client briefs alongside the Digital and Post
- Production, Creative, Agency Producers and Client Service teams to drive up standards of creativity.
- Articulate rationale and feedback in a thoughtful and articulate manner.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the agency.
- Carry out all instructions and requirements quickly and efficiently with commercial awareness.
- Ability to work confidently in a deadline orientated environment
- Contribute to maintaining a robust, secure, and smooth operational flow, including backups, archiving, file structures and continuity across software and systems.
- To continually learn new trends, techniques, styles, and practices, sharing references across the Digital and Post-Production division, educating the more junior team members.
- Effectively manage your team at all times, including their recruitment, assessment, engagement, wellbeing and development.
- Attend, engage with and take forward learnings from the Leadership Academy.
- Ensure your team understands the company objectives and is committed to delivering these.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- 6 years+ relevant industry experience
- Strong portfolio of work showcasing a mixture of video, VFX and motion graphics with audio content
- Digital Industry awareness
- Advanced demonstrable knowledge of Premiere Pro
- Advanced demonstrable knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Advanced demonstrable knowledge of Adobe Audition
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- The required technical knowledge and understanding of working with video/footage including codecs, frame rates, file formats, audio, and aspect ratios
- Relevant degree
- Selfinitiated research
- Understanding of Adobe InDesign
- Understanding of FIGMA
- Understanding of Adobe Bridge Skills
- Fluent in visual storytelling with a strong creative storyboarding ability to direct the narrative
- Artistic ability including a strong eye for detail, lighting, colour and visual/atmospheric VFX
- Excellent Colour Grade Capabilities
- Expert at Sound Design / mixing
- Adept at using Adobe video editing suite (PR, AE)
- Ability to articulate concepts and ideas to the wider team
- Ability to prioritise workflow
- Ability to work to adhere to deadlines
- Excellent face to face and telephone communicator
- Ability to encourage and develop junior members.
