Description

FRUK Magazine is looking for a dedicated Content Creator and Editorial Assistant who will report to the Editor-in-Chief to create and commission fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, health and wellness content to drive growth and brand authority across all social channels and the website.

This is a chance to work closely with top brands in the fashion, beauty and luxury marketplace.


Key Duties

• Able to deliver exceptional ideas, uncover original stories and angles
• Able to deliver excellent articles and engaging content daily online and via all social platforms
• The first to know about new beauty, fashion, entertainment, health and wellness concepts to reach wider audiences on all platforms
• Representing FRUK externally at press launches and events to ensure good relationships are always maintained and developed
• The ability to work with data and analytics to evaluate story performance to ensure pieces are hitting audience growth targets
• A creative innovative approach to presenting beauty, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, health and wellness content across all different digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and others.
• Strong relationships with photographers, models, agencies, makeup artists, hair stylists, pr etc working within the industry
• A network of beauty, fashion, music and entertainment industry contacts in multiple markets
• Unrivalled knowledge of the beauty, fashion, entertainment, health and wellness industries, and an understanding of how beauty today spans beyond cosmetics to include mental health, and more
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Able to research, create mood boards, assist on shoots, source and return pieces

Requirements:

• Strong prioritisation and time management skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines across multiple projects and themes
• Proficient communication skills, verbal and written
• Natural networker and
  FRUK brand ambassador:
• A positive outlook and someone who enjoys being faced with new challenges
• Excellent contacts within the fashion, beauty, entertainment industry
• Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Experience in digital and print magazine as well as indepth knowledge of the industry is a must

Responsibilities:

• Write and produce minimum of 35 stories per day for online/socials
• Pitch ideas for new articles and concepts for viral content
• Create interview questions
• Ensure the published content is onbrand
• Represent at events when appropriate
