International Operations Administration Assistant - Cycling, Running & Triathlon

Destination Sport Experiences

This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office with flexibility for homeworking, so you must live within a commutable distance.


Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for an
International Operations Administration Assistant - Cycling, Running & Triathlon to provide administrative support to Destination Sport/Sportive Breaks/ Marathon Tours International Operation Managers.

This role involves effective collaboration with all project managers to assist with the delivery of the brands extensive portfolio of Cycling, Running & Triathlon events.


This is a varied, hands on role and on a typical day you will;

  • Collect, analyse and process customer event related data and using this to assist in creating operational plans
  • Process customer entry information within different event organisers platforms
  • Work with third party suppliers and operational staff to ensure they have the correct information to execute operations plans successfully.
  • Prepare event related customer literature and documentation
  • Assist with confirming bespoke requests i.e Additional nights, bike hire request, bespoke transfers etc
  • Assist the customer service team with both pre and postsale enquires and bespoke requests
  • Assist with processing and tracking third party invoices through to payment with our internal finance team
  • Assist with contracting
  • Assist with updating our various websites
  • Assist with both domestic and international on the ground operations (occasional weekends)


To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for sports and an interest in our core offering.


Key skills

  • Highly organised and accurate
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous administrative and Data processing experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Drive to develop within the role
  • Foreign language skills would be advantageous but not essential (Main nonEnglish operations are in France/Italy)
  • Knowledge of Running/ Cycling / Triathlon would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent working understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office
