Description

The working pattern on offer is:

  • Monday to Friday (8:30
  • 5:00; 40 hours per week)

The day-to-day of the role:


  • Record all basic personnel information and support managers to proactively record information for their teams.
  • Utilise company software for reports and statistics, and analyse these using Excel and research as appropriate.
  • Ensure all aspects of recruitment processes run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Ensure all HR processes are consistently implemented and utilised, taking consideration for the individual merits of each case and providing guidance and advice to managers as required. This includes supporting managers through employee relations processesof all types including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence etc.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to managers in dealing with informal people management on a day to day basis.
  • Support managers through the annual appraisal process, providing guidance and advice as needed and ensuring appraisals are tracked and completed.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers to ensure that sickness and other absences are managed appropriately and consistently across the business.

Skills Required:


  • 3+ years HR knowledge and experience, including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • CIPD level 5 or working towards
  • Good level of IT literacy, including in Microsoft Office and any HRIS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and selforganised, using own initiative and with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Strong analytical and pragmatic problemsolving skills
  • Consistently maintains confidentiality, showing discretion.
