DP/TMcC16, Transport Assistant, Penketh

A transport escort is required to work with a 16 year-old female who has a diagnosis of Autism and severe learning difficulty.

Although not diagnosed with OCD she can present in this way. She is virtually non-verbal but can make her wishes and feelings known and will use single words on occasion.

The transport escort will be needed for morning and afternoon school runs Monday to Friday, term time only with a collection from WA5 area at 8:15am to arrive at college, and return journey leaving from college at 3:15pm back to WA5 area.

The rate of pay is £11.00 an hour.

The young female will require constant supervision when travelling as she can become heightened due to noise and also may become impatient and may try to stand up whilst the bus is moving.

She may sometimes lash out or hit herself if her behaviours heighten.

She has a great sense of humour and enjoys college and responds well to positive happy people.

Own car user preferred.
