Grafton Banks Finance is assisting a successful and rapidly expanding global c£20m turnover SME in Chichester with the recruitment of its first Finance Director on an exclusive basis.

The role will suit a Senior Financial Controller looking for their nextcareer move or a current Finance Director with recent experience of working in a "hands on" Head of Finance role for an SME.

You will also need to be a fully qualified accountant, (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) in order to apply.

Reporting to the CEO and working with theOperations Directors you will help drive the continued growth of the company both in the UK and abroad.

Turnover for next year is set to increase to £40m, so this is a great time to join.

The owners are also looking to orchestrate an exit some time over thenext three years, so previous experience of accounting for an exit/MBO would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

Management of the monthly management accounts process
Budgeting, forecasting, and planning and variance analysis
Analysis of new revenue streams
New client contract negotiation
Introduce KPIs
Provide information on business performance
VAT and tax guidance
Ensure regulatory compliance
Management of the P&L
Balance sheet control
Payroll and year end statutory accounts
Implement a new accounting system
Implement sufficient controls and processes
Manage the MBO process. Prepare data rooms, due diligence etc
Business partner the current owners and Operations Director

It will allow the successful individual to really put their stamp on the role, enabling them to implement, improve and maintain sufficient systems, processes, KPIs etc.
