ALD Site Implementation Engineer


Location:
Remote/Cambridge Office


IR35 Status:
OUTSIDE


I'm currently recruiting for a Site Implementation Engineer for a Managed Service client who are supporting various clients across the health, medical and pharmacy industry.


Site Implementation Engineer responsibilties:


  • Work with the ALD Lab/Site Implementation PM to assist in planning and coordinating each lab/site survey & discovery visit in order to ensure that you can fulfil the requirements below.
  • Advise the Site Implementation BA (whilst preparing the lab/site survey and discovery report(s)) and then work with Zontal to implement the required configuration
  • Prepare the Lab devices for implementation, works with users and Implementation team to solve issues, train & answer user queries.
  • Actively avoid becoming a single point of program failure (in case of unexpected absence):
  • Share documentation and progress openly with the PMs/Teams (do not hoard work products in personal storage)

Site Implementation Engineer Deliverables:


Installation Report:
Document precisely how Zontal was actually implemented for this lab

Month - Establish the facts, refine the approach

  • Assist and then follow the ALD Lab/Site Implementation PM's implementation plan
  • Ensure you understand (from your BA and Zontal) well in advance of each lab/site visit, precisely what information needs to be captured.
  • Prepare an installation report template in advance of each site visit
  • Work with your lab/site implementation BA to understand each lab's requirements, customizations or configurations
Month - Deliver a simple system that works

  • Populate your installation report during the lab survey/discovery and implementation phases
  • Work with the Lab/Site implementation engineer and Zontal to ensure a limited, specific but successful lab implementation.
  • Support team retrospectives to share information from the first implementations in order to prepare for scaling up to multiple parallel lab implementations
Month - Finish the implementation and share information, configuration & experience

  • Finalize your installation report, obtain a peer review and share it openly within the Program on Teams/SharePoint
  • Assist the PM to write and share an "after action report" to help other teams learn from your team's successes and failures in order to improve future lab/site implementations
