We have a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our OT Schools Outreach Service.

This newly created term time only position will see our current BCP Occupational Therapy Service expand provision into Schools across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

The new Schools Outreach Team will comprise of 2 Occupational Therapists and 1 Occupational Therapy Assistant.

This role requires an experienced OT Assistant to support the Schools Outreach Occupational Therapists to implement and deliver advice and support in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor, and gross motor skill development.

Our aims are to increase the school-based learning and participation opportunities for children with/without a diagnosis of SEND, who find it difficult to engage within their education setting and wider school life.

This new outreach service will seek to provide schools with an in depth and consistent understanding of the impact Sensory Processing difficulties can have on Children & Young people within the classroom and school environment.
