Here at LivGreen we are a specialist Retrofit Contractor which provides a one-stop-shop for social and private landlords in delivering high quality retrofit projects.

We prioritize teamwork, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Due to company growth here at LivGreen we now looking for a Head of Commercial to join the team.

The role will focus on the Bid Management, Procurement, Pricing, and Invoicing within LivGreen to ensure we are maximising our profitability and competitiveness.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility for maintaining and improving GP for projects, involving cost control and negotiation uplifts/extras.
  • Undertake monthly site surveys with the client & PM where necessary to secure/negotiate uplifts, including upgrading specifications and additional works.
  • Assist with managing the QS and wider team.
  • Act as an escalation point for the team and make commercial decisions including labour issues and client disputes within set limits.
  • Customer, Subcontractor Contract negotiations
  • Contract interpretation checks and negotiation.
  • Maintain Positive Cash Flow throughout the projects by assisting in credit control where required.
  • Report on Project GP on a weekly basis, as well as WIP monthly.
  • Create & send monthly valuations and invoices to clients.
  • Overseeing costanalysis and estimating process against an agreed Schedule of Rates
  • Procurement of all supply items and subcontractor packages
  • Pricing of all contract variations.
  • Overseeing all Bids; Assist in the writing of bids, as well as pricing.
  • Coordinate with the existing bid team on what to input into Bids.
  • Creating partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate the most competitive rates and terms possible.
  • Ensuring systems are put in place to mitigate against any errors in pricing and purchasing.
  • Review all pricing and ensure that we are market competitive (this will be in conjunction with the procurement exercise).
  • Working with sales and operations to ensure clients are paying promptly and that spend limits are achieved on every contract.
