THE ROLE

A new vacancy for a Health and Safety Advisor to join Courtley Health & Safety's fantastic team within our Liverpool office.

The role will comprise of providing practical and administrative health and safety support to our members.

This role would be ideal for someone with a keen interest in health and safety looking to begin or develop their career in this sector.

Duties will include;

Developing and revising Health and Safety policies, safe systems of work and working procedures
Carrying out Site audits, preparing reports and monitoring closure of actions required
Assisting in preparing written risk assessments and safe systems of work
Investigating accidents/incidents and preparing reports
Providing Health and Safety coaching and the delivery of training
Assisting with developing and driving forward key Health and Safety initiatives
Maintaining continuous personal development including keeping uptodate with relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicating relevant changes to the business

THE PERSON

Knowledge:
Committed to work towards or a desire to work towards Chartered status.
Excellent IT skills and ability to effectively use computer software packages such as Microsoft Office

Skills and abilities:
Ability, willingness, and desire to learn.
Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to ongoing changes
Determination to find solutions to problems.
Ability to develop client relationships.
A full valid driving licence.
The ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and our workers.
A good work ethic. Responsible and reliable.
Attention to detail.
A desire to add value.
