THE ROLE


A new vacancy for a Health and Safety Advisor to join Courtley Health & Safety's fantastic team within our Liverpool office.

The role will comprise of providing practical and administrative health and safety support to our members.

This role would be ideal for someone with a keen interest in health and safety looking to begin or develop their career in this sector.

Duties will include;

  • Developing and revising Health and Safety policies, safe systems of work and working procedures
  • Carrying out Site audits, preparing reports and monitoring closure of actions required
  • Assisting in preparing written risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Investigating accidents/incidents and preparing reports
  • Providing Health and Safety coaching and the delivery of training
  • Assisting with developing and driving forward key Health and Safety initiatives
  • Maintaining continuous personal development including keeping uptodate with relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicating relevant changes to the business

THE PERSON

Knowledge:
Committed to work towards or a desire to work towards Chartered status.
Excellent IT skills and ability to effectively use computer software packages such as Microsoft Office

Skills and abilities:
Ability, willingness, and desire to learn.
Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to ongoing changes
Determination to find solutions to problems.
Ability to develop client relationships.
A full valid driving licence.
The ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and our workers.
A good work ethic. Responsible and reliable.
Attention to detail.
A desire to add value.
