A private day nursery in Chessington, KT9 are looking to recruit a dedicated and Nursery Room Leader to assist in leading an enthusiastic and passionate team.

The nursery is easy to commute from Hampton, Kingston, Surbiton, Sutton and immediate surrounding areas.

Responsibilities of an experienced Nursery Room Leader includes:

Working closely with the Nursery Manager to manage and organise the room.
Ensure that all children attending the nursery are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Supporting the staff in the room
Planning appropriately for children using the EYFS framework
Maintaining accurate and effective children's records
Working in partnership with parents/carers
Following and understanding safeguarding procedures and ensuring that children are kept safe

In order to be considered for the experienced Nursery Room Leader position:

Must be at least Level 3 qualified:
Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside,
Managing and maintaining administration requirements
Have a clear DBS, have 2 satisfactory references
