Description

We are looking for a well organised and highly motivated full time Pharmacy Administration Officer to join our growing pharmacy team.

This position is based in Colchester Hospital and you will be working with a team where you are the first point of contact for staff and service users.

You will provide secretarial, administrative and clerical support to pharmacy team leaders and to the pharmacy service as a whole.

The role requires a high level of interpersonal skills with the capacity to manage sensitive, confidential information. You will need to be hardworking and have excellent administration skills.

You must also be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment and able to prioritise your workload accordingly.

You must be a team player, conscientious and have a flexible approach.


Secretarial qualifications are desirable but recent experience of administrative work in a busy office environment with excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential.

NHS administrative experience would be an advantage.

The post holder will be responsible for providing secretarial, administrative and clerical support to the lead administrator, senior pharmacy managers and to the Pharmacy Service as a whole.
