Job description:
We're after a passionate and high-performing Social Media Intern to join our team.
They'll be responsible for planning and executing social content across various platforms for several exciting restaurant brands that we are partnered with.
You will work closely with our Social Media Executive on day-to-day tasks as well as supporting our Directors to create unique content for our client's audience and their ever growing social presence.
What you'll be working on:
- Working predominantly across Instagram and TikTok
- Dealing with customer queries via social channels
- Create engaging captions for posts and schedule content
- Assist with engaging content creation for all channels
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry
- Propose and deliver new ideas / concepts for social media content
- Reporting into the Social Media Executive daytoday
- Work with the Directors on other administrative tasks where required
- Previous use of social media channels is required and experience of creating content is essential
Qualities:
- A strong interest in social media, the latest food trends, and restaurants.
- Passionate about marketing

Essential skills:
- Excellent literacy, written and spoken communication skills
- Good administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver consistently
- Strong eye for attention to detail
- An understanding of social media platforms and how businesses use Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok and Twitter
- Understanding of social media analytics
- Strong image creating and editing skills
- Good IT skills, MS office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Able to work to a brief, independently and as part of a team
- Ability to create and amend engaging Reels & TikTok videos
- Graphic design skills preferable (Illustrator / Photoshop / Canva) but not essential

Experience / Qualifications:
- Previous use of social media channels essential
- Minimum grade C or equivalent in GCSE English
Relevant paid or voluntary work experience is useful which has been gained in a commercial area requiring contact with customers or the public (particularly sales and marketing).
Above all we are looking for a driven individual who can use their own initiative and bring ideas to the table.
Experience with digital marketing will be advantageous, however a willingness to learn and get stuck in will be key to growing in this role and being a successful member of the team.
