WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are currently recruiting for the Mobility Project Planner. The individual in this role will operate Project Management & Control (PM&C) processes on a multi-million pound project. The role will report into the Design Services Project manager within our In-Service Support business.


Position Duties and Responsibilities
For each of the projects (or tasks) assigned to you, responsibilities will include:

  • Manage tasks using a bespoke task management system (training will be provided).
  • Prepare and maintain task schedules using MS project from initial phase through to completion
  • Monitor task progress and provide inputs to the monthly status report for the overall project where required.
  • Monitor costs and provide 'estimates to complete' to include any drawdown of risk contingencies.
  • Coordinate activities across a diverse spectrum of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to internal and external meetings
  • Provide admin support to the project (raising purchase requisitions, requesting and monitoring supply of GFE etc)

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Experience in project or contract management.
  • Project management qualification from an accredited body such as APM or PRINCE, or be in a position to work towards this.
  • Proficiency in general IT packages such as MS Project, Powerpoint, Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence to challenge and question their peers when needed.
  • Highly motivated individual able to work on their own initiative.
