Description

Our Paediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) service is looking for a driven and dynamic individual to join our enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly team.

This role would be suitable for a qualified congenital echocardiographer (paediatric, ACHD or both) or a motivated echocardiographer looking to specialise in this challenging but highly rewarding field.

Applicants due to complete their BSE accreditation in the near future would be welcome to apply.
Interview Date: 26th April 202- 37 Hours 30 Minutes per a week

The echo team is an integral part of the combined paediatric and ACHD service covering outpatient and inpatient work.

The congenital echo team provide a physiologist led interventional TOE service and advanced imaging clinics (including dedicated 3D pre surgical assessment).

Working in a level 1 congenital surgical centre the team routinely undertakes echocardiography for a wide range of indications from innocent murmurs to complex single ventricle physiology.

Our specialist services also include ventricular assist devices and extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), along with pre and post cardiac transplant assessments.
