Description
Leading a small team of Technicians, this role will cover all aspects of maintenance including mechanical and electrical responsibilities on a continental shift pattern.
Experience in problem solving and programming on Siemens S7 PLC's and motor drive systems is essentialMain Functional Responsibilities
Maintain manufacturing machinery at all times including satisfying all aspects of maintenance by shift.
Ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
Take the lead role in the initiative process, including identifying improvement opportunities and seeing them through to implementation.
Ensure compliance to the highest level of Health and Safety and Environmental standards.
Maintain safe working practices at all times.
Lead responsibility for maintenance shift personnel.
To undertake training as required to ensure compliance with legislation and to support the company's continuous improvement policy.
Provide cover for absent staff and to work overtime to ensure the needs of the business are met
Effectively communicate/liaise, verbally, in writing or electronic mail as required (at all levels).
Provide additional support and/or temporary replacement of appropriate maintenance personnel.
Responsible for first line disciplinary and grievance issues.
Ability to work within the team but equally to motivate and focus the team with regard to all aspects of plant maintenance.

Up to £54,000.00 per year
