My client is an established housing association looking for a Resident Services Officer for their social housing projects based at London Bridge properties.

The active Resident Services Team is looking for extra support after a large restructure in the business. The role is 100% office-based working alongside a close-knit team of 7, reporting to the Residential Services Manager.


The Resident Services Officer delivers resident led services that supports tenants and homeowners throughout their occupancy of the Associations properties, ensuring that legal and financial requirements are fulfilled and giving individual support on housingmatters.

Acting as block champions, the post holder also works with colleagues to ensure that they are clean, safe and well maintained.

Creating an environment where residents are proud to live and positively participate in the community.

The day-to-day responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Being the first point of contact for all housing related matters raised by tenants and homeowners
  • Managing residents tenancy lifecycle, from preoccupancy viewings, tenancy checks, introductory visits to rent collection and tenancy cessation
  • Provide a comprehensive homeownership management service including participating in homeowner consultation activities, verification of right to buy information, resident/ landlord disputes, homeowner name changes and implementation of homeowner charges
  • Supporting tenants to obtain rehousing
  • Work with vulnerable residents to ensure their needs are met through supportive landlord services
  • Have 2+ years of experience in Residential Services
  • Have the ability to work under high pressure
  • Be resilient and hard working
  • Have experience using ActiveH Software (Desirable)
  • Experience of undertaking a variety of administrative and financial tasks

Salary £37,500 - £39,000
