We are currently seeking an
Administrator (North West Region) to join the team at Fusion. The role will be primarily office-based, with some flexibility for hybrid working on an ad hoc basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide administrative support across the region.
  • To adhere to relevant legislation regulation and company policies and procedures to work consistently with Fusion's core values and deliver best practice standards of work to ensure that all administrative services are delivered to a high standard across the region.
  • To comply with Equal Opportunities Policy and procedures in all employment practices.
  • Undertake other identified tasks, as required by Regional Management to support the fostering service.
  • To undertake administrative processes involved in obtaining statutory and/or compliance checks and references, liaising with Supervising Social Workers and Form F Assessors.
  • To maintain all records and files in line with agency procedures as required, this may include data systems, relevant recording spreadsheets or paperbased files, and to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
  • To support colleagues within the region and/or nationwide with administration tasks.
  • To ensure key information is shared with colleagues.
  • To be flexible and cover for colleagues during times of sickness/leave.
  • To take responsibility for own professional development, maintaining essential qualifications, regularly updating knowledge, and undertaking all training opportunities provided by Fusion Fostering Limited.
  • Since confidential information is involved with the duties of this post the post holder will be required to always exercise discretion and to observe relevant codes of practice and legislation in relation to data protection and personal information.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 2 year's experience within an administrative capacity.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, together with competence in maintaining data via inhouse database systems.
  • Experience of working in a role that requires a high level of regulatory compliance, such as (but not essentially) in children's services.
  • The ability to communicate well and clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to process and analyse large amounts of complex and sometimes distressing information.
  • Experience of managing a busy workload and meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A valuing of diversity in relation to issues of ethnicity, religion, gender, disability and sexuality.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to the need for confidentiality, specifically in relation to data protection regulations.
  • A willingness to increase knowledge and understanding of issues through reading, discussion and training.
  • Experience of minuting meetings to a professional standard.
