THE COMPANY
Our client, a local construction company based in Shenstone, require a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.


THE ROLE
Working in a small team, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of purchase invoices and transactions. Inputting accurately and efficiently on a daily basis as well as reconciling supplier statements. You will be responsible for matching invoicesagainst delivery notes. You will be a point of contact for supplier queries and chase unauthorised invoices from branches. Other ad-hoc duties required during busy periods include payment runs, general administration and CIS payments.


REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally you will have some experience of purchase ledger and a good standard of excel. You will be IT literate and have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Strong and accurate keyboard skills are essential and a can-do attitude that can copeat busy times. This role would suit a school/college leader or University Graduate who has an interest in accountancy. Excellent opportunity for an entry level person. Role will include using Sage Line 50.


COMPANY BENEFITS
The company offer good working conditions and onsite parking. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week on a flexible basis. Monday to Friday with 1⁄2 hour lunch. 20 days annual leave + standard Bank Holidays. Salary is £19,000 - £21,000.
