Are you a Financial Controller looking for a route to Finance Director?

Maybe your FD isn't going anywhere, or the Directors are reluctant to give you board-level status.

Don't worry, this transition can be a stumbling block for many.

Luckily for you, this family-owned business recognises the value of a true FD and wants someone who is champing at the bit to get there within the next 12-18 months.

You'll join a stable and profitable SME with a healthy balance sheet and great prospects for further growth.

In your role, as number one in finance, you'll be expected to advise and challenge the Exec board and family council, as well as keep the day-to-dayoperations of the finance department running smoothly.

The first 12 months will undoubtedly involve some heavy lifting as you develop systems and processes and ensure your team are up to speed.

You'll spend time with non-finance stakeholders, ensuring that departments are held accountable for their spendingand budgets, whilst promoting a collaborative working environment between finance and the rest of the business.

To be considered, you'll need to be a fully qualified Financial Controller with an appreciation for working with business owners of smaller companies.

Experience of acquisitions and disposals would be advantageous, but not essential.

Package is £75,000 - £90,000 + Fully Expensed Car % bonus
