Responsibilities:

Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation and planning.
Has significant business impact through indepth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
Possesses an understanding of client core business functions.
Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership.
Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.
Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
Provides indepth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
Substantial experience in programme / project management with proven success in project execution
Experience in supporting transformation projects and organisation change initiatives
Ability to support cross functional projects
Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex situations
Experience within financial service or another regulated industry preferred
