Electrical Tester Overview:


If you have a background in Electrical Testing, Electrical Wiring, PAT Testing and or have 17th Edition / 18th Edition then we'd like to hear from you today.

Using in-house testing equipment (training will be provided on in-house equipment) to test Power Distribution Units after manufacturing to ensure electrical safety of the product.

Our client manufactures everything from extension leads, cables, sockets, and electrical distribution units. There is a lot of diversity in the product range which means no two days are the same.**
Electrical Tester Requirements:
  • Electrical knowledge is a MUST (Ideally 18th Edition, 17th Edition BS7671)
  • Previous use of basic Power tools (Drill-Drivers etc)
  • Use of manual PAT (i.e. Flukes etc)
  • Good IT Skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Selfmotivated with a cando attitude

Electrical Tester Responsibilities:


  • Electrical Testing portable power units, using inhouse test equipment
  • Electrical Testing mains cabling, plugs and adaptors using 'Socket & See' and Martindale test equipment
  • Manufacture of circuitprotected portable power units for TV, Film and Broadcasting Industries
  • Manufacture of single, 3phase and multicore mains cabling, including adaptors and splitters
  • Manufacture of standard plugs and sockets rated IP44 and IP67
