TRAINEE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

We are recruiting graduates for our Chartered Accountant training programme 2023, to be based in the audit teams within our Edinburgh office.
With continued support and mentoring, we aim to make the transition from university to work life as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
During your training contract you will be:
- Given the opportunity early on to work on a variety of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to major family-owned and multinational companies and not-for-profit organisations
- Developing your business advisory skills through our internal training programme and HL Training Academy
- Covering a variety of tasks, enabling you to grow personally as well as professionally
- Working in a busy, highperforming team, constantly learning from those around you as part of your onthejob training
- Given study and exam leave to ensure you pass your exams
What we are looking for:
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- A demonstrable interest in business and financial issues
- A welldeveloped sense of client service
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving
- Works well under pressure and rises to a challenge
In addition, you will share our values, be approachable and able to work collaboratively, and demonstrate a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the firm.
The start date for this position is 15 August 2023.
