Position -Transport Co-ordinator


Based -Tesco, Rugby


Salary -Up to £24k


Hours -06.00 > 14.00 or 14.00 > 22.00


Role Summary


Due to business growth, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team in a position offering career stability and excellent developmental opportunities in a great working environment.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Continual monitoring of the daily transport plan to ensure completion of requirement
  • Liaising with customer and drivers to deliver a successful, costefficient plan
  • Brief / Debriefing drivers
  • Maintain the TMS planning system
  • Maintain the Defect and VOR process at all times
  • Conduct fleet checks and report findings
  • Updating spreadsheets for analysis and KPI purposes
  • Maintaining effective internal stakeholder relationships to ensure cohesive business plans are achieved

Experience
Must have proven experience of Transport supervision.

Ability to make quick decisions.

Full UK Driving licence.

Ability to work under pressure using own initiative.

Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong administrative skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.
