My highly successful Building Supply Merchants are looking to hire an experienced Customer Service Advisor to help with their continued growth.
If you are hardworking and dedicated, this is the ideal job for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from customers, process orders and quotations.
- Raise tickets from incoming Customer Service calls, follow tickets through to completion. This involves speaking with customers as well as suppliers to source replacement products and parts.
- Address raised tickets through to comprehensive resolution using the "5 whys" method.
- Meet Operations Director and Supervisor on a weekly basis to discuss operational issues and resolutions.
- Create internal tickets to drive change and improve performance.
- Manage customer's expectations by advising lead times and updates on backorder products.
- Pass on all order amendment details to warehouse operations team.
- Assist customers with alternative stock availability / solutions.
- Raising purchase orders for replacement stock and special order stock.
- Assist with identifying process improvements for order processing, complaint resolution and error reductions.
