Overview:


Energy Resourcing is currently supporting their major oil and gas client and requires an Integrated Activity Planner to join their Norwich Onshore team on a 15-month contract basis.


The Integrated Activity Planner will be responsible for generating, maintaining and updating maintenance and ST IAP for a thriving gas production facility.


Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that all activities are efficiently planned in close cooperation with operations and functions and in line with IAP procedures.
  • Communicate business plan targets, operational impacts/benefits of Functions and Asset activities and their priorities and use these as a basis for the IAPS Plan/ Schedule.
  • Validate and agree on planning assumptions by analysing previous plans performance (previous plan and actuals of execution) to ensure credible plans.
  • Enter data and validate that activity data is entered into the planning tool with the right quality and per activity data standards.
  • Activities are defined with increasing work scope detail and matured for each planning horizon (including production impacts, resource requirements, timing, and duration).
  • Integrate Medium Term and Functional Plans into ST IAPS plan, optimize and publish

This includes:

  • Accept/reject work into planbased business priorities and objectives (including Functional Plan targets), IAPS requirements and Activity Readiness criteria (ensure activities are matured for execution).
  • Identify opportunities for integration (including thirdparty activities), prioritise and sequence activities, resolve clashes in the plan and escalate for a resolution to the Plan Owner if needed
  • Confirm that all requirements for work execution on the facility are met, including identified constraints and Operations Readiness to support work execution
  • Optimise utilisation and load level shared resources (e.g. Rig count, Vessels, Helicopters, Persons on Board (POB) and compliance to Safe Manning Levels (SML)) across the Asset and manage site resource demands for activities in the plan/ schedule
  • Validate/ confirm that all risks and opportunities to plan delivery are identified.
  • Establish facility shutdown windows and durations including Turnaround schedule input from functional planners
  • Confirm that IAPS plans meet business objectives and targets, are approved by the Plan Owner and communicated to relevant stakeholders for execution.
  • Ensure any plan changes are communicated and approved per the Change Control process.
  • Support the execution of activities as planned for the delivery of the business outcome.
  • Support the IAPS plan owner to establish performance measures, monitor and drive plan performance to deliver business outcomes (business and process KPIs).
  • Develop and support the implementation IAPS continuous improvement plan (process, data and systems).
  • Facilitate/ run IAPS planning meetings, raise/identify challenges to plan doability, performance, risk/opportunities, issues and in particular, the impact on Shutdown, deferments and Latest Estimate of production, provide clear material and personnel demand signals for supply chain execution team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with and knowledge of planning and preparation of maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of planning systems such as SAP and Primavera.
  • Familiar with the Onshore installations & organization.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, but willing to challenge existing behaviours and ways of working to drive process and performance continuous improvement in the Production Unit.
