We are currently supporting a number of special schools in Essex that is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support pupils with additional needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, (SEN TA) you will be supporting the learners in their class whohave an EHCP (Educational Heath Care Plan).

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant in Essex must share the ambitions of the schools to be able to create a successful and thriving environment that meets the needs and requirements of all pupils that can supportto building a better and brighter future for them.


SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) job role::


  • Supporting the pupils in the class.
  • Supporting learners with additional needs such as Autism and Anxiety.
  • Working with the class teacher to ensure pupil's learning and emotional needs are met.
  • Supporting teaching and learning certificates is desirable but not essential.

SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Requirements:

  • Experience in working with and supporting young people in a special school is desirable.
  • Be able to communicate with school staff, parents, and carers.
  • Certificates in supporting teaching and learning would be an advantage.
  • Available 5 days a week 08:30 15:30.
  • Commutable to Essex.
