About the Role:
Longfield Medical Centre are hiring
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly and growing team within Longfield Medical Centre as a PA to the Partners and Practice Manager.
The requirement of the role is to provide direct support to the Partners and Practice Manager in carrying out day-to-day duties to assist with the smooth running of the Practice, and to provide an element of cover or source of advice in the event of their absence.
The post-holder will work closely with, and under the direction of, the management team to improve standards across a wide range of clinical and administrative activity.
Main responsibilities will include:
- HR
- Assisting with the recruitment of new staff, and monitoring staff absence and annual leave requests.
- Health and Safety
- You will assist in promoting and maintaining health, safety and security as defined in the practice policies.
- Production of performance and quality information
- Ensure that documentation (electronic and paperbased) exists to support performance standards across the full range of performancebased activity
- QOF, Enhanced Services etc.
- To assist in the production of information for clinical audit.
- To undertake adhoc work related to the performance of the practice under the guidance of the Practice Manager.
- Data quality
- To work within the clinical computer system to improve data quality, using the expertise of other data staff where appropriate.
- Equality and diversity
- You will support the equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues.

- You will participate in any training programme implemented by the practice.

- You will strive to maintain quality within the practice.

- Excellent IT and typing skills
- Adaptable and friendly with strong administration, time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communicators who work in a confidential and discreet manner and are able to think on their feet in a busy working environment.
- Able to multitask, work hard and maintain high level of attention to detail when under pressure.
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.
